2010 President's Holiday Message
Dear Valued Members and Distinguished Guests,
HANUKKAH, and CHRISTMAS, what wonderful glorious holidays and very special occasions to nourish the spirits by hoping, forgiving, remembering, loving, respecting, admiring, praying, appreciating, and thanking.
Most of us have been financial victims of the long and extremely bad economic cycle; but as the French people have said always: UNE PLAIE D'ARGENT N'EST PAS MORTELLE (A FINANCIAL WOUND IS NOT FATAL). We should reinforce and keep our optimism very positive, hoping for the better as long as our health is good—which is definitely the most essential.
My sincere and warmest wishes to you and to yours for a very joyful and healthy holiday, and for a very happy and prosperous New Year 2010.
Cheers and Prost,
Jean-Pierre Gaspar

2009-2011 PROST President Acceptance Speech
Dear Valued Members and Distinguished Guests,
I would rather say few words devoutly with my heart than thousands, which my soul does not relish with affection and understanding.
To change or to change for the better are two completely different meanings, may I assure you that I am always striving to change for the better.
It is my privilege as one of the 2009-2011 Executive Board members to express our sincere gratitude to all the valued members and to reconfirm that with our genuine passion and complete dedication to Prost LA, we are here and ready to be of service. Pleasing you and your distinguished guests will be one of our best rewards.
Thank you very much for your extremely valued confidence.
PROST,
Jean-Pierre Gaspar

2009 President's New Years Message
Dear Valued Prost members and distinguished guests:
Happy New Year 2009!
It is hard to believe the Holidays have come and gone. I am truly pleased to say our luncheon at Lawry’s was extremely successful again this year with both members and guests supporting our charity, The Village Family Services. This is really what the Holidays are about – GIVING.
As we begin the new year, 2009, we are all aware, there will be some rough roads ahead, but, with the camaraderie and friendship of fellow Prost members this is where we share any job opportunities, contacts for future business, and of course our networking opportunities.
PROST was formed as a social gathering many years ago, but, it has evolved into not only spending time with fellow travel professionals, but knowing who to contact and where to go for future business.
My best wishes to you and yours for a very Happy, Healthy, Safe and Prosperous 2009.
PROST,
Jean-Pierre Gaspar
Prost LA President
2007-2009 PROST President Acceptance Speech
I am really and truly honored for having your priceless confidence to be your 2007-2009 Prost President. As a member since 9 years and board member since 7 years, I served this prestigious club with passion and dedication and I will continue to serve it with the same way and with the same positive attitude.
Regarding the attitude I am blessed to be surrounded by extraordinary people who are YOU and who were very instrumental to me! Please allow me to share with you what it has been written by Charles Swindoll about the ATTITUDE. Charles is an author, educator, pastor and the founder of Insight For Living, which airs a radio program of the same name on more than 2000 stations around the world in 15 languages. His HQ is in Plano Texas:
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company…a church…a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past…we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one thing we have, and that is our attitude…I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so, it is with you… we are in charge of our ATTITUDES
Thank you and Merci,
Jean-Pierre Gaspar
