New Member Information

PROST procedures in accordance with our bylaws:

Membership is based on the individual person, not the Company.

New members must be proposed by 2 active PROST members.

Prospective members must be invited by an active member attending the luncheon. The prospective member, in turn, is required to attend at least 3 meetings prior to being considered for membership.

Proposal must be submitted in writing, to the Vice President-Membership and Executive Director; and accompanied by 2 business cards of the candidate.

Candidate must be an executive actively occupying a management position. If a prospective member is not occupying a management position, there must have been a letter from the management stating this particular person would be representing the company on their (the management’s) behalf.

Prospective member must have a minimum of 5 years service in travel.

Prospective members on the waiting list must keep their application current by attending at least one meeting per quarter as a guest. This requirement must be repeated until an opening becomes available and they are placed on the ballot.

Once a member, you must attend at least 6 meetings a year to remain a member in good standing.

PROST encourages prospective members to attend as many PROST luncheons as they wish as a guest of one of our members. Come as often as you wish, there are no restrictions on the maximum number of times you may attend as a guest.
